Trigger Point

Where does pain come from?  At Natural Healthcare Services, we hear everyone who suffers from chronic pain ask that question.  It is an important question if you want to address pain at the point where it originates.  Trigger point therapy focuses on the sensitive spots in muscle, called trigger points.  A trained practitioner of trigger point therapy, Karen Brady develops an instinct for where to find each client’s trigger points.  She knows how to locate them and has an array of techniques for diminishing them.

What can you expect from a trigger point therapy session?  Karen will look for knots in muscles that are indicators of trigger points.  Careful application of isolated pressure and release techniques will be used on the trigger points.  This manipulation of the trigger points can be very effective at relieving the pressure that causes pain.
