Chiropractic Services offered by Gregg, using his vast years of experience correcting the spine and extremities. Your nervous system dominates your body. When your body is out of alignment it can contribute to poor health or function, including areas that are far removed from the spine itself. Misalignments can contribute to the body’s inability to adapt to the continual changes in the world in which we live.

Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that uses adjustments to correct misalignments and restore proper function of the nervous system, helping your body to heal properly. The Central Nervous System is a controller of body functions and is a passageway for nutrient administration to the body’s visceral areas and endocrine system as well as the circulatory system and cardiovascular, affecting the “WHOLE BODY.”

the power of an adjustment

Chiropractic adjustments, also known as spinal manipulations, are a form of alternative medicine that involves applying controlled pressure to spinal joints in order to improve spinal alignment and overall health. Chiropractors, who are licensed healthcare professionals with specialized training, perform these adjustments with the goal of relieving pain, improving function, and promoting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

The underlying theory of chiropractic care is based on the idea that misalignments or improper movement of the spine can interfere with the nervous system’s functioning, leading to a variety of health problems. Chiropractors believe that by correcting these misalignments, known as “subluxations,” they can restore proper nerve function and facilitate the body’s innate healing processes.

Chiropractic adjustments typically involve the chiropractor using their hands or specialized instruments to apply controlled force to specific areas of the spine. The force applied can produce a popping or cracking sound, which is thought to be the result of gas bubbles being released from the fluid within the joints.

Conditions commonly treated with chiropractic adjustments include:

    • Neck pain
    • Back pain
    • Headaches
    • Sciatica
    • Carpal tunnel syndrome
    • TMJ disorder
    • Sports injuries
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Irritable bowel syndrome
    • Asthma
    • High blood pressure
    • Muscle and joint pain
    • Some cases of joint dysfunction

Chiropractic care is considered relatively safe when performed by a qualified and licensed chiropractor.
